Pokémon League Cup 23rd November 2024
Kraken Gaming Ltd is proud to host this quarter’s Pokémon League Cup! This event will be held Saturday 23rd November 2024 from 10am. There will be no Pokémon Club this day.
Pokémon TCG League Cups are a day-long event held quarterly, and are the next level up in local competitions from the monthly Challenge tournaments. In these events players earn a greater number of Championship Points for participating and achieving prize placement standings to help earn an invitation to the Pokémon World Championships!
In order to participate, players must have a Pokémon Trainer Club account with accompanying Player ID number, and be in good standing with the Play! Pokémon program. Players must have opted in to the Play! Pokémon program in order to earn points and prizes.
Tournament to be played in Standard format with a 60 card deck of currently-in-rotation cards. Your deck list must be provided on the day to the event organiser. League Cup to be in Swiss, best-of-three format, 50 minutes per round, then moves onto single-elimination for top 8. All age divisions (Junior, Senior, Master) welcome.
BOOKING IN ADVANCE IS ESSENTIAL FOR THIS EVENT.
Prize Support:
1st place receives “Champion” playmat. This playmat features terastalized Lapras from the Stellar Crown expansion.
2 booster packs per player. Further prize support scales with number of players; a mixture of set booster packs and Prize packs (dependent on availability).
